Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Encinia

Liz is the Executive Director-Treasurer of Kentucky WMU. Liz earned a Bachelor of Communications & Marketing and a Masters of Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University, and a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University. Liz has a combined 17+ years serving in youth ministry, communications and web graphic design, worship team, women’s ministry, teen-girls ministry, and lay leader training. She assisted in launching three church plants in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She also served as officer with the Hispanic Education Initiative and on the Young Latino Leadership Taskforce for the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas. Before coming to Kentucky, Liz served 10 years with WMU of Texas as their Missional Lifestyle Strategist for Preschool, Children, and Student Groups. Liz enjoys singing, sewing, finding a perfect cup of coffee, exploring the nearest art museum, perusing Pinterest for craft ideas, watching sports, and walking her dog.
