membership
You don't have to leave part of yourself at the door here.
BNF is for nurses and healthcare professionals who want a community that holds both sides of who they are. The clinician who keeps up with the latest evidence. The person of faith who prays for patients and sometimes, quietly, with them. The one who wonders if there's more they're supposed to do with their skills and their calling.
If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
who can join?
Membership is open to
registered nurses
licensed practical nurses
allied healthcare professionals
nursing students
and non-healthcare professionals
who share a commitment to the mission.
You don't have to be Baptist. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up.
Career and emerita missionaries who have served through a recognized sending organization join at no cost. Nurses who have been active members for fifteen years and are eighty years of age or older are honored as Nightingale Members, also at no cost, in recognition of a lifetime of faithful service.
what your membership makes possible
More than access. A sense of belonging.
Your membership connects you to a national network of Christian nurses who understand what you carry.
It gives you access to continuing education that takes both your clinical skills and your spiritual life seriously.
It opens doors to mission opportunities near and far, and surrounds those opportunities with prayer and community.
And it puts you in the same room, virtually and in person, with nurses who have been exactly where you are and found their way through.
BNF has a soft approach to membership. We are not going to overwhelm your inbox or ask more of you than you have to give. Some members engage deeply, serving on committees, attending regional gatherings, and going on mission trips. Others participate in a single quarterly webinar and find exactly what they needed. You get to decide what this looks like in the season of life you're in. If all you can do right now is give five minutes to the website, start there. The door stays open.
